When I finally go to the diagnostics and see what the system log says it doesn't provide me any information as to why the system locked up. After rebooting and chkdsk on c: I come back in and successfully backup but then I clicked on Diagnostics and then it would lock up on that. This morning I tried to backup my server and it would lock up in the middle of the backup.
